Privacy Policy
This policy explains how I collect and use personal data, and the legal basis for doing so. As the holder of that data, I am called the Data Controller. You can also find here an explanation of your rights in relation to that data.

From where do I collect your personal information:
I collect your personal information directly from you and with your explicit consent.
What personal information might I collect and use:
I will collect any contact information you provide me including email, telephone number, social media accounts and address. You may also provide me further personal information such as biographical details, CV information, details of your campaign activities etc. I will use that further information to help keep you informed of activities relevant to you.
Purpose of collection and use of your information:
I will only collect and use personal information for the specific purpose for which it has been obtained, that is, to keep you informed on news, activities and campaigns relevant to me in Junction now and in the future, as well as the activities of the other independent councillors on Islington Council who I have been endorsed by. I will organise and collate your information in an appropriate manner that allows me to keep you informed. I may communicate by post, email, or phone about my work and give you the latest news on my work, campaigns and opportunities to get involved. I will only send emails and texts where you have provided consent for me to do so. You may withdraw your consent or unsubscribe at any time from communications in any medium by contacting the responsible officer for data protection.
Who I share your information with:
My campaign team and agent will have access to your information and will process your information under my strict supervision and line with the terms of this privacy policy. I will also share this information with the other independent councillors, whom I have been endorsed by and hope to work with on the council. If I can establish a legitimate interest, where I share your information with other campaigns or organisations that share my values and goals and with whom I work closely. Those instances of sharing your information would be time limited and subject to my strict supervision and due diligence. Under no circumstances would I allow any other organisation or campaign to contact you without your express consent. There may be instances where I am required by law to share your information with 3rd parties, for example with regulators such as the ICO, or with financial institutions.
Retention of personal data
I will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy.
Your rights:
You have a number of rights in relation to your personal information and the opportunity to choose how it is used. You can:
· Obtain copies of the personal information I hold about you (known as a “subject access request”)
· Request that personal information you have given your consent for me to use, and that I still hold, is provided in an electronic format so it can be transferred to another data controller (also known as “data portability”)
· Request that I correct or update any personal information held about you
· Ask that we erase or restrict the way in which I use your information
You may opt out of receiving further communications from me in any medium at any time. All requests to unsubscribe are dealt with promptly.
